Control how menu categories are presented: Pills, Image Cards, Banners, or Tiles.
3 minThe default option. Categories appear as small pill-shaped buttons that customers tap to filter. Clean, minimal, and works well for any number of categories. No images required.
Categories appear as visual cards with background images. Customers see a photo representing each category (e.g., a pizza photo for 'Pizza', a cocktail for 'Drinks').
To use this mode, you'll need to upload an image for each category. The Category Image Manager appears below the display mode picker when you select this option.
Full-width horizontal banners for each category. Creates a bold, magazine-style look. Each banner can have a unique background colour or image.
Best for menus with 3–6 categories. More than 8-10 banners can feel overwhelming on mobile.
A visually dramatic option with one large featured tile and smaller tiles alongside. Best for restaurants with signature categories they want to highlight.
